Challenge
Mercury’s team included of some of the industry’s leading professionals, with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience. Despite this, the company lacked brand preference among some of the key decision makers in the defense, military, and aerospace markets. The $2 million company turned to Corridor Communications based on our success with the RapidIO standards organization to amplify its position in the market.
Approach
Corridor Communications developed a highly targeted group of influencers, and a thought leadership strategy. We leveraged Mercury’s work in pioneering a next generation defense electronics business model, as well as its unique design approach that clearly met both open standards and DoD requirements. Our work included strategic outreach to trade media and analysts, local media, events, and social media.
Impact
The program, which resulted in quarterly meetings with the top influencers and onsite monthly meetings with company executives, firmly established Mercury Systems as a thought leader and industry resource. Mercury executives are sought-after experts for speaking and editorial contributions on innovation, rapid time-to-value and world-class service and support.
